About the Goombay Bash: Since its inception in 2002, the Goombay Bash has brought in $450,000 for the Martin Memorial Foundation. The 2009 event welcomed more than 650 patrons and raised over $108,000, funding new technology, equipment and facilities at the maternal-child department at Martin Memorial.
