For [...]]]> The Treasure Coast Pirate Fest wants you to be a part of the crew. Volunteers are needed Sept. 10-12 to work gates, staff information booths and beverage stands and help with set up and teardown. Volunteers will receive two drink coupons per shift and an event T-shirt.

For more than 20 years, ArtsFest has celebrated the talent of local artists and artisans. This year The Arts Council is looking to add new faces to the festival line-up, scheduled for March 19-20 on East Ocean Boulevard.

Last year, more than 20,000 people gathered downtown to view the art and crafts displayed by more than 150 artists.

Artists can participate in a juried art show to have their work evaluated by judges and also exhibit their work for sale. Jury fee is $40 and the booth fee is $300. The deadline to apply is Sept. 1. Go to www.zapplication.org, create an artist profile and upload three digital images of your work and one of your booth space. The jury-selected artists will be notified in early October.
